Guten Tag

In Germany (Munich) this week for a trade event. Stay in touch.

Halloween 2008

Here are some pictures form Halloween 2008. This year we had a fierce Clone Trooper and a brave Fireman.

New Pictures

Alexandra recently uploaded a few pictures to Shutterfly. Here they are.

Business Time

Whatever you do, Baby, just remember that Wednesday night is Business Night:

Danish Spring

Just a quick note from Denmark where, miraculously, spring arrived this week. It is fantastic, sunny and 60dg. A few pics posted from Copenhagen.

DK bound

Hey all you happy Danish people. Just wanted to let you know that I am headed for Copenhagen next week and plan to hang there for about a week. Jonas

Recession indicators

Much debate is going on here in the US as to whether or not we are in a recession. For me, the discussion is over. In this century, there have been a few clear indications of the onset of a recession,  but the two clearest are these: 1. The bursting of a bubble (first tech, now housing), and 2. I take the sensible, well considered, and financially sane decision to quit my job (for those - probably many - who don’t know it, I last quit a job in August of 2001). Since we all know about the bubble, I only need to tell you that last Friday was my last day at Blue Sky Network, to know that we are truly all in real trouble. Naturally, I have yet to find a formula for telling the bottom of the market, but I will let you know if anything reveals itself.

Tiger and the boys

Sunday, while Alexandra was out of town, all the boys went out to Torry Pines to experience the worlds best golfer. On an otherwise rainy and stormy weekend in San Diego, the sun peaked out just enough to give us two wonderful hours. I guess the sun always shines on TW.

KevWenBlog

Wendy and Kevin have a new blog up. It is at http://www.stokes-web.com/blog/. As always filled with great photos and concern for the local environment. A great read/view.
